What does it mean to be a lady?


I think nowadays being a lady means being a well-behaved women who take care of her attitude and manners. A lady should have respect for others, be kind and know how to behave. Modern lady don’t have to be elegant all the time, she should know when she needs to dress in a specific way. Also she needs to speak up for herself and have the confidence that former ladys couldn’t have because of their ,, fragility’’.

    I have nothing to add, I have rather a similar image of a lady.

    It seems that there is little difference, if any, between ladies and the rest of womanhood. Shouldn't we all (men included) have good manners and respect for others?
