video #2
The video I've watched is called ,,Claude Monet Was Half Honeybee''. It explains how Monet ,,resembled" a bee. We usually say that artist has a unique eye, which in this case is completely true. Due to cataract Monet decided to remove the lens from his right eye. Because of his illness everything he saw was yellowish and cloudy, which we can see in his artwork. The surgery was the reason why he started to see like bees, which means he could see ultraviolet. The blue and violet colours became more intense for him, which we can observe in progress of his work. 1. cataract - Blurring of vision and fading coulors were symptoms of cataract. 2. lens - Claude Monet had his lens removed. 3. resembled - It's amazing how these twins resemble each other.
